| it will only hurt if you have a really bad infection and really bad infection will keep you up all night and hurt so bad its going to make you want to put your head through a wall and the only pain med i found helpful was hard liquor before you go to sleep it really dulls the pain but anyways if you can get prescibed antibiotics to help fight the infection the root canal will go so smootheo mean shit who wants to do it lol but trust it was a breeze |

| i had 3 on the front of my teeth and they did something to my gums(cut int it to remove the infection when the medicine couldent) and my whole face was swelled up and i looked like a monster for like 2 weeks and i have alot of pictures. it was so painful that when i forgot take the pain kill every 6 hours (you take it an hour before the actual time)i had passed out to the pain till the pain killers had kicked in,the worse feeling in the world is passing out, you get all cold and everything |

| thanks for the reply! youre right i had mine done and it didnt hurt at all. well im still numbed a bit on that part of my face so hopefully no pain after that all either. |

| That's kind of bad. You could get infected roots too. Just go to the dentist. And this doesn't hurt at all. I got it without shots and such. Opening the canals hurts tho. |

| I had a root canal a little more than a year ago, but at the time, my tooth was aching like crazy, but the root canal was great, it didn't hurt as many say it does. Yep, and it healed my infection. Disgusting what my dentist showed me, of what came out of my tooth! |
