We are only learning about sight and perception we dont have anything like a full understanding of it and it appears the sight area of the brain is also activated by other perceptual triggers. Sight and touch are perceptually connected. Clouds arent fluffy we just say they are. Children including blind children are taught to dab their fingers in paint to make fluffy clouds. Esref says he wants us to forget he is blind and look at his paintings for what they are.

I got irritated with the professor, though, grabbing Esref's hands and putting them where he wanted them. That disrupts Esref's input and processing; i.e., he feels prof's hands instead of the building. He needs to do it himself, like he's done all his life, ya know? He was amazing *in spite of* the prof's effort to be helpful.
